It’s about what you leave behind

“It is so hard to leave—until you leave. And then it is the easiest goddamned thing in the world.”
John Green, Paper Towns

Does anyone of you knows how hard it is to learn the Art of Letting go and leaving things behind? Most especially if the people you’re with all through this journey took a big space in your heart. All things have to end earlier or later, or nothing new would ever start. Isn’t that the phrase? I was unable to get it correctly together in my head, but I think that is more or less what it says and what I want to express. Writing this feels heavy on my heart and will be a hard step to do. I didn’t do this all lightly.  Even more challenging, this post marks the end of my internship here with CreatiVoices Productions. In the past few days, I have been preparing myself for my departure, all of the while brainstorming a farewell message that I could go out on. My internship at CreatiVoices taught me more than I could ever imagine.

What I’ve learned?

I’ve come to learn that I am not alone. The company taught me that almost everybody is in the same position.Very few college students know what they want to do, and it is something that is simply not worth worrying about. Thanks to everyone who taught me that if I continue to work hard, things will fall into it’s proper places.

That I should keep on writing.  I have always enjoyed writing, and always felt that I was pretty good at it. I had to learn to adapt a new tone with my writing, something that took a little getting used to. This position kept me writing something new everyday, and I can say that my writing has improved drastically.

What else is there to say?

As I leave, I like to thank everyone at CreatiVoices Productions who has helped me out. This has truly been a great learning experience and I will be forever indebted to those who gave me a hand here. As far as your internship goes, always remember to be friendly, work hard, ask questions, Hopefully, you come away with your internship with as much as I did. Thank you everyone.

Thank you. Thank you to all those lovely people I met. You guys deserve a big hug and a big thank you. I am glad I met some of you in this crazy world.

To Sir Choy who shares his motivational speech to keep us from working hard and to do things out of our comfort zone. Thank you so much sir! You don’t know how much I am grateful for your every words.

To Dean, Madi, Paula and Shelley. It was indeed nice meeting you guys. You might belong to the block sections but you prove to me that you were far different from others.

And because every sad moment needs some wonderful last words; I borrow them from the 9th Doctor:

“Oh, and before I go, I just wanna tell you, you were fantastic.”
