When Passions Combine

Many people live and die in the same corner of the world. I don’t intend to live my life that way. 20 years of being an obedient daughter entailed that I stay home at my parent’s command. And what my parents lacked for wanderlust swept over me. Every night I would lie in darkness with my head set on what lay beyond the hole I live in. Every night I spent in that darkness gave me an insatiable appetite to wander off. I knew I am but a dust particle swimming in the galactic sea. And just as dust gets blown off to the different corners of the world, I too, wanted to be swept away.
